Reporting to the Branch Manager the Sales and Support Specialist will be responsible for order processing, assisting customers with will call, consultative selling and design assistance.  The candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that is customer service oriented.  The position will require a multitasking, forward thinking, efficient and productive go-getter.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Provide best-in-class customer service
  • Maintain an awareness of all product knowledge information, promotions and vendor training
  • Place outgoing calls to known or unknown customers based on initiatives and existing work
  • Demonstrate use and operation of product and recommend products to customers and answer questions
  • Accurately and efficiently, complete all sales transactions which include processing invoices, returns, receiving and processing cash, checks and credit card payments
  • Provide information regarding warranties, manufacturing specifications, care and maintenance of product and delivery options
  • Assist in floor moves, product, display maintenance, replenishing product and store housekeeping

 

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years’ customer service/sales experience
  • Proven ability to multi-task, this includes ability to understand multiple products and multiple levels of benefits within each product

 Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous Audio Visual Knowledge 
  • Knowledge of advance networking
  • Familiar with and able to program control systems including: RTI, Control4, Savant, Creston, Lutron, Holm, etc.
