The Principal Product Manager, Remote Management will report to the Director of Remote Management within the Platforms and Services team. This position requires experience with software product management with the ability to understand the market positioning from a financial and technical product standpoint. This position will be working with multiple software engineering and product management teams, therefore project management skills, communication skills, and the ability to work across multiple stakeholders are critical. The Product Manager should demonstrate intellectual curiosity, accountability, attention to detail and business acumen. Being a proactive self-starter who enjoys working in a high-energy and team-oriented environment with the ability to motivate others are key attributes for this position.

Specific Responsibilities
  • Work closely with engineering, design, and product management to continuously re-imagine how to use the cloud to deliver Smart Living value that delights partners and end-customers and keeps them growing their Smart Home and Smart Business experiences

  • Partner across various stakeholders to set a cohesive product strategy for Snap One Cloud Services by applying data analysis, logic, research, and innovation

  • Perform ongoing research of current customers and their needs

  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of competitive products and maintain analysis of competitive strengths and weaknesses

  • Develop and prioritize the product roadmap, balancing resource capacity with strategic and financial impact

  • Define initiatives with supporting business case and requirements that help achieve the overall product strategy

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to successfully execute the initiatives, all the way from development, go-to-market, and support

  • Drive efforts for continual improvement in the products, including bug fixes and enhancements

  • Develop success metrics and track performance

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in business or engineering related field of study

  • 8+ yearsof product management experience on software or software-enabled products

  • Demonstrated track record of launching and growing successful products

  • Previous experience and proficiency in working closely with software development teams

  • Experience using Agile in an enterprise type environment, including story creation and the role of a product owner as the voice of the customer

  • Fluency in written and spoken English

  • Located in the Lehi, Utah Area

Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in computer science or information systems

  • Previous experience as a product manager for SaaS and/or cloud-based software products

  • Previous experience as a product manager for IoT and Audio/Video products

  • Previous experience with commercial/Pro A/V projects

  • Experience prioritizing the modernization of a product, while maintaining existing and adding new customer functionality
