The PR & Events Marketing Manager leads the operational needs for PR Communications at Snap One while supporting the Events team in large tradeshows. Managing the relationship with our PR agency and other third-party relationships, developing internal communications and PR social content, submitting awards, and supporting large tradeshows, the ideal candidate for this role is an agile, eager, self-motivated collaborator with experience managing the workflow of PR and live marketing events and digital content from strategy to completion. This person has a strong interest in PR and communications, process strategy for events, thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, and takes pride in their communication and exceptional organizational skills. This role requires an individual with a high attention to detail who effectively and independently manages their time, works cross-functionally, and executes within tight timelines. The PR & Events Marketing Manager continually seeks opportunities to improve efficiency and quality of processes to enhance the experience for external and internal stakeholders.

 

Specific Responsibilities

·          Support the development and rollout of marketing PR strategies and internal/external communications, working with the Director of PR & Events to develop project briefs and timelines for both PR campaigns and large events.

·          Manage multiple PR, Communication, and large Events projects simultaneously across multiple internal and external teams, departments, and stakeholders – tracking strategy, stakeholders, milestones, and tasks with assigned teams end to end.

·          Work with external PR agency to ensure they are receiving information needed to execute press calendar.

·          Manage and execute the seasonal and monthly PR strategy and story focus with PR agency, clearly communicating importance level of each story. Manage PR event activations with internal teams across account and consumer These activities include seasonal press day executions, preparing relevant materials, key messaging for the season and brand activation calendar.

·          Monitor media coverage, report results, and bring ideas on how to amplify or defuse to our team and clients.

·          Create organic social media for PR coverage and develop executive thought leadership content, overseeing post creation and scheduling.

·          Orchestrate the efforts of cross-functional teams to execute PR and large events to ensure all stakeholders are updated and aligned, working with teams to provide relevant status updates for PR and Events on Product-related timelines.

·          Maintain award calendar and submit for awards.

·          Identify and work with stakeholders to either remove barriers or escalate issues that block the team’s ability to meet project objectives and help minimize project delivery risks

·          Communicate objectives, timelines, and approval framework for cross-team understanding by providing timely status reports and identifying and implementing process improvements during project development.

 

Required Qualifications

·          Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in a PR or Communications role or 7+ years of experience in PR or Communications

·          Experience supporting trade shows

·          Proven commitment to exceptional customer service delivery to both clients/customers and internal team members that allow effective working relationships with a diverse population.

·          The ability to execute on directions and/or delegate effectively.

 

Preferred Qualifications

·          Experience in consumer electronics and/or technical product acumen
